pictures

this past weekend, we did Quinn's 2 year pictures, a family picture, and a belly picture. We had a good weekend--Saturday, we did odds and ends around the house, went to a birthday party in the afternoon, went out to dinner for an early Mother's Day dinner and hung out at home in the evening. Sunday, we went and got our pictures taken, hung out at home in the afternoon. We had plans to go to the beach but it started pouring after Quinn woke up from his nap so we ran some errands and bought Quinn a potty to test out. The ped. recommended introducing the potty to him now and let him play with it but not push potty training especially since we are throwing a new baby in the mix in a few weeks. He loves lifting the seat and pushing the handle, which is shaped like a soccer ball. The potty also cheers when you flush it. He said he had to go last night but didn't lift the seat in time and peed in front of the potty. It's a start. I am not expecting anything right now. We hope to really start potty training when he is 2 1/2-3years old. We will see.

had my dr. appointment last friday. everything looks good. I am measuring a little smaller than 34 weeks but the dr. said all looks good. I head back in 2 weeks for my 36 week appointment. Can't believe we are in the single digit countdown. It will be here before we know it.
