3,653 days ago Pat and I went out on our first date...Wow, 10 years has gone by so fast! We've experienced so much during the decade. Enjoy the trip down memory lane of our 10 years together...

2000:

In 2000 we experienced Y2K and we ended up with lots of canned goods courtesy of Pap Pap, Pat was named greek god, Pat graduated college and moved back to Pgh, Kristen stayed in Edinboro and took summer school, Pat worked at Coconuts and Kristen worked at campus rec, Pat moved to KY at the end of August and Kristen started her senior year EUP. We traveled monthly to see eachother.

2001 :

In 2001, Pat completed his first year of graduate school, Kristen received her BA in communications and moved to Kentucky shortly after graduation, Grandma Kroll passed away, September 11th happened, Kristen got a job at Transylvania University, Pat started participating in intramurals and we met some life-long friends through these activities, we lived in the Chinoe Creek apartments--right down the street from Chinoe Pub. We also frequented the Fish Tank often, we took in UK basketball games and football games

2002:

In 2002, Pat completed another year of graduate school and Kristen continued to work at Transy, we saw the final four at Rupp Arena, we moved from an apartment into a house on Revere Run Drive, several friends and family got married in 2002, Pat continued to participate in intramural basketball and volleyball and Kristen tagged along to cheer from the sidelines.

2003:

In 2003, Miss Derby Jean Hudak-Mulholland joined our family and she is still as hyper but we couldn't imagine life without her!Pat surprised Kristen with a birthday and Valentines day with a trip to Nashville. We stayed at the Orpyland hotel and it was BEAUTIFUL! On our last day in Nashville, the space shuttle Columbia exploded on the way back to Earth. We also traveled to New Orleans for Pat's neuroscience conference and thoroughly enjoyed all of what New Orleans has to offer--can't wait to go back, Pat spent 5 weeks in London and Kristen spent the month of August in Edinboro with her parents, Pap Pap passed away, Seabiscuit was a top movie, Johnny Cash died, and Pat received his Masters.

2004 :

In 2004, we traveled to Ft. Lauderdale for some fun in the sun. Pat celebrated his golden birthday that year--27! Leslie and Salvador got married, we took a family trip to HHI with Pat's side of the family, we headed to Asheville, NC with Skip and Jen to see MoFro for the first time and climbed Chimney Rock, Kristen got her Masters in Sports Management, and in December Pat finally asked me to be his wife...after almost 5 years together!

2005:

Pat became Dr. Muhlolland when he received his doctorate from UK, we moved to Charleston, SC, Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans, Pat started his postdoc at MUSC and Kristen started working in the Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs at MUSC, Kristen's dad passed away suddenly, we pushed up our wedding and got married the day after Thanksgiving in 2 ft. of snow, and we settled into married life in the south.

2006:
Steelers won the superbowl, we bought our first house, Kristen's mom passed away, we celebrated Nicole and Nate's wedding as well as other friends and family weddings, we found out that we were expecting, we celebrated our first anniversary in Savannah, GA, we saw the Steelers play the Carolina Panthers from the 8th row, and we celebrated Christmas in Dallas with Kristen's sisters and their families.

2007:
Family threw us a baby shower in Pgh, we welcomed Quinn Patrick on April 23 (9 days late...), we settled into life with a baby and watched in awe when Quinn reached each milestone, we celebrated Thanksgiving in DC with Kristen's sisters and families and then headed to PA to celebrate a late Thanksgiving with Pat's family, Quinn started daycare and Kristen returned to work part-time.

2008:
Quinn turned 1, he learned how to crawl, walk, and talk in 2008, we celebrated his first birthday with an old macdonald theme, Aunt Nicole came down to help celebrate his first birthday, we went to HHI for a summer vacation, we became and Aunt and an Uncle again when Sebastian was born, we found out we were expecting #2 in October, Obama was elected President.

2009:

Steelers won the superbowl again, Quinn turned 2, we welcomed Egan Francis on June 18, celebrated with friends and family in August for Egan's baptism, Pat became a Research Assistant Professor, Egan started daycare, and we celebrated 4 years of marriage.

thank you Pat for the last 10 years. You've been there through thick and thin for me. You accept me for who I am--flaws and all. You are my best friend and I am thankful for you. You are a wonderful hands-on Dad and the boys are very lucky to have you as their daddy. I can't wait to see what the next 10 years bring. Happy 10 yr. dating anniversary Pat!
