the mulholland family: Disney!

We went to Disney April 22-26 and we LOVED it! All 4 of us LOVED it! When we were packing up and heading home, the boys asked if we could go back the following weekend. We can't wait to go back.

Our days went something like this:
Monday, April 22: travel down to Disney. We checked in at our hotel and it was raining. We decided to take the bus to Magic Kingdom to check it out. It poured when we first arrived so we hopped on the train that goes around the kingdom. We got off halfway and it had stopped raining. We tried out the Barnstormer--the boys first rollercoaster. THEY LOVED IT! We didn't have to wait in line too long so we rode it 4 more times. We did a few other rides and then settled in to watch the electric parade and the fireworks. We headed back to the hotel around 11pm that night. Fun first day!

Tuesday, April 23: Quinn's 6th birthday! We went to Animal Kingdom during the day and stayed there until 4pm. Rode the bus back to the hotel and relaxed for a little bit before heading to Downtown Disney for pizza and the lego store--Quinn's birthday wish. The boys were all in bed and asleep by 8:45pm!

Wednesday, April 24: we headed to Sea World. We stayed there until 1:30pm and then headed back to the hotel. We swam and played in the pool until dinnertime. The pool was awesome! 3 acres of sandy bottom, a big water slide, lazy river, and a little water slide for the kids. We had a great time! After dinner we headed back to Magic Kingdom for a few hours. The park closed at 9pm so we were home and in bed by 10pm. We tried out Big Thunder Mountain--it was dark and the boys were not fans!

Thursday, April 25: our last day in the parks. We got up early and went straight to Magic Kingdom. The first roller coaster we tackled was Big Thunder mountain. There wasn't a line so we rode several times in a row. The boys loved it--much better than riding it better at night. We stayed in the park until 1pm and then headed back to the hotel to swim in the afternoon. We came back to magic kingdom around 7pm. We rode rides, watched the parade, and watched the fireworks. No one wanted to leave!

Friday, April 26: we made the trek back to Charleston.

We had a wonderful time! It was not relaxing but was so much fun and we were on the go from sun up to sun down. The boys were troopers and loved every minute of it! We can't wait to get back there in a few years.
