#2

we went on Friday for my genetic ultrasound and testing. We should know the results by next Friday when I have my 14 wk. appointment with my dr. The sonographer said that everything looked good.

While we were there, Pat asked if it was too early to tell what we are having. She said that most likely it's too early but that we could take a peek if we wanted to find out the sex. She did all the tests she needed to for the genetic screen and after that we took a peek down below. #2 is 99.9% a boy. He was in a good position to tell. The sonographer said she never says 100% this early on but she is 99.9% sure it's a boy. We will know for sure in February when we go in for the anatomy ultrasound. So most likely Quinn will have a little brother. We are thrilled that #2 looks to be healthy. He was moving all over the place. We got great pictures and I hope to upload those soon.

We also have decided on a name. The name we picked was actually one that we considered using for Quinn's middle name but we decided to hold off in case we had another boy down the road. Baby #2 will be named Egan Francis. Egan was my Grandma Hudak's maiden name. Francis is in honor and memory of my Dad and Pat's grandfather.

So we are gearing up for my sisters and their families to make their way to SC for Christmas. We are looking forward to spending time with them. I plan on baking some black bottom cupcakes next week--5 dozen, which I am sure will be gone by the time everyone goes home on the 27th.

Well must say so long for now. Pat and I are heading out tomorrow for a date at a bar to watch the Steelers and Ravens game--should be a good one! Go Steelers!
