Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas. We had a few days off of work and got to spend several days with the boys. The weather was a little chilly and it rained on Christmas Eve and a little bit on Christmas but we still had a great time with our family of 4. Here are some pics from our break.

Over Christmas, Egan learned how to push himself up to a sitting position. He is also army crawling and scooting all over the place. He always scooted toward the Christmas tree. Isn't he cute?!

Our neighbor, Mike, came over and brought Quinn a Christmas present. Love the shirt Mike! Thank you. Our other neighbor, Lori, also brought the boys presents--a book for Quinn, some little crinkly toys for Egan, and a movie for both of them. Thanks for thinking of the boys, Lori! Our other neighbors, Joe and Elina, also got the boys new sippy cups, toys for Egan, and a new plate. We have great neighbors.

A few years ago, cousin Shelley sent me some snow in a packet. I saved it because I wanted to make it with Quinn when he was older. Well here it is...Not quite like the snow I am used to up north but it looks kind of like it.

I have several videos to upload. Quinn received a bike from Santa and he is in love! He couldn't figure out how to work the bike on Christmas morning but that kid was bound and determined to figure out how to ride the bike. We kept it out in the garage and he kept going out there to practice. By Sunday afternoon, he had it down and rode his bike around the neighborhood! Pat said he got to be so good that there were times when Pat had to run to catch up with him. My little guy is growing up way too fast!

Thank you to everyone who bought the boys gifts. We now have to figure out where to put everything!

We really enjoyed Christmas with the boys. Quinn is at such a fun age. He loved everything about Christmastime this year--the lights, the tree, Elvis (he still keeps asking where Elvis is), baking with Mommy, learning about Christmas, etc. I can't wait until Egan is old enough to get excited over Christmas.
