Lexington visit

Last Thursday, we headed to Lexington, KY to visit friends. Here are a few pictures from our weekend in the bluegrass state.

After we arrived in Lexington, Pat went to visit his old lab and I went to visit old co-workers from Transy. Then we headed to the Brechting house to finally meet the triplets and to see our friends, Emily and Phil.

Friday, Pat went back to UK to visit with his old lab, Emily went to work half day and Phil and I stayed with the boys.

On Saturday, we decided to tackle the children's museum. We met up with our other friends, Rich and Nicki and their two children, Meghan and Pierce.

thanks for a fun visit, Emily and Phil. We enjoyed meeting with boys and spending time with you and Phil. After we left Emily and Phil's, we headed to Versailles to stay with Rich and Nicki.

Rich and Nicki-thanks for a fun visit and for some good cooking. It was great seeing you and Meghan again and finally meeting Pierce. Hope to see you again soon.

On our way to the airport, we also got to see our old friend, Andrea.

We enjoyed our whirlwind trip to Lexington and are now back in Charleston recovering. It was great seeing old friends, meeting new children, and driving around Lexington. So much has changed in the 3 1/2 years that we've been gone. We really enjoyed the trip!
